Dr. Erik Rodriguez is a medical doctor who obtained his medical degree from the Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas de Villa Clara Dr. Serafín Ruiz de Zárate Ruiz in 2000. He specialized in General Integral Medicine and obtained his degree in 2007 from the same institute. In 2014, he obtained a degree in Plastic Surgery and Caumatology from the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Cienfuegos, Hospital General Docente: "Dr. Gustavo Aldereguía Lima" in Cienfuegos, Cuba.

Dr. Rodriguez has extensive experience in clinical and surgical care, beginning with his service in the rural healthcare area of San Blas Cumanayagua in Cienfuegos, Cuba from 2000 to 2003. He has also worked in other healthcare centers such as the Policlínico Docente Aracelio Rodríguez Castellón and the Hospital General Docente: "Dr. Gustavo Aldereguía Lima". He has served as a resident in Cardiovascular Surgery and Plastic Surgery and Caumatology in the latter hospital.

Dr. Rodriguez is skilled in various surgical procedures, including peripheral and central venous approach, lumbar puncture, wound suturing, abscess drainage, upper airway foreign body extraction, catheterization, advanced CPR, EKG interpretation, correction of acid-base and electrolyte imbalances, basic minimally invasive surgery, and basic general, gynecological, pediatric, angiologic, orthopedic, and urologic surgery. He is also experienced in various cosmetic surgeries such as dermolipectomy, flap making, blepharoplasty, face lifting, open and closed rhinoplasty, liposuction, breast augmentation, and reduction, mastopexy, gluteal lipoinjection, facial fat grafting, external genital plastic surgery, and minor surgery with cold knife or electrocautery.

Dr. Rodriguez has treated various medical conditions, including acute surgical abdomen in children, inguinal hernia, undescended testicle, acute scrotum, phimosis and balanoprepucial adhesions, pyloric stenosis, appendicitis, and intussusception.
He currently runs a private clinic located in Torre Platino where he performs surgeries in Beyond Medical located in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
